Strategic Plan 2025–2029

We developed our Strategic Plan 2025–2029 [PDF 1487.02 KB] with input from our workforce, consumers and healthcare partners.

It sets out our vision, purpose and values, and supports the Queensland Government's plan for our communities to have health services when you need them.

What we're doing

• Working together with our communities and partners to prevent long-term illness, make health fairer for everyone and create easy-to-understand health information.
• Making healthcare easier to reach by joining up services, improving rural access, and providing care that respects all cultures, with a focus on First Nations peoples.
• Giving safe, high-quality care that is based on facts, supports people through tough times and meets the needs of our community.
• Caring for the future by protecting the environment, using clean energy, and building a strong health system that lasts.
• Supporting our staff to feel safe, valued and ready to grow their careers in a great place to work.
