We're finding new ways to connect people from across the community with the health care they need.

We're finding out what causes mental illness, how it affects people and society, and how to improve treatments, services and policies.

We're using technology and systems to improve community access to health care.

• support our staff to use research to inform our clinical practices
• grow and improve our research program to ensure research is safe for patients, informed by the community and promotes excellent clinical care.
• strengthen our research partnerships in health, universities, industry and the community
• build a capable workforce and a culture of research.
